Rob Cain - Senior Pastor / Missions & Evangelism
 

Pastor Rob is a native of Hartselle, Alabama, and a graduate of the University of Alabama (Bachelor of Science in Psychology). He has worked in Youth & College ministry for over 30 years, and with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association full-time. Rob also serves as the Athletic Director and Campus Pastor at American Christian Academy, where The Lighthouse meets for worship. He previously served as Student Pastor at Circlewood Baptist (14 years) and Duncanville Baptist (2 years) in Tuscaloosa, and at Liberty Baptist (2 years) in Hartselle. He also was senior pastor of The Church At Tuscaloosa (2002-2005), and their College Pastor for 6 years (2000-2005). Rob is very involved with mission work, evangelistic outreach, and collegiate ministry. He and Taffy have been married for 22 years, and have 2 children, Hudson (age 16) and Maddie (age 10). Rob serves The Lighthouse as our Senior Pastor, and provides leadership for Missions, Administration, and Evangelism.


Parker Smith - Music & College Minister
 
 
We are truly blessed to have Parker on our Staff here at The Lighthouse! Prior to joining our church staff, he attended The Lighthouse, and helped to lead worship for the No Compromise Student Retreat. Parker has a lot of experience leading worship in several capacities for a number of years, and has a real servant's heart and approach to ministry! A student at the University of Alabama, Parker brings a ton of talent musically and vocally, and will continue to build a strong team of singers and musicians each week for our Sunday Worship Celebrations! He also leads a weekly Bible Study for college students at his home. We praise God that Parker Smith is our Music & College Minister.
 

Alex Woodard - Youth Minister
 
Alex is a student at the University of Alabama, and serves the Youth (Grades 6-12) of our church. He is a gifted communicator, and has a heart for making disciples of students. He also works in a local ministry called Young Life. Alex has a contagious passion for the Lord Jesus! Our students are blessed to have a leader with such integrity, fire, and enthusiasm! We are thrilled that Alex is serving The Lighthouse as our Youth Minister.
 
 
Brooks Moss - Video Production Coordinator
 
 
Brooks is a charter member of The Lighthouse, and has been an active part of the Collegiate Ministry in years past. He now will coordinate a team of volunteers who produce our video for Sunday Worship Celebrations (Power Point and song lyrics, movie clips in sermons, information loops, and more). He has also served in the past as a Small Group leader on several occasions. Brooks works as a full-time teacher at South Lamar High School. He has also served as a staff member on numerous No Compromise Student Retreats. We are very excited to have Brooks as our Video Production Coordinator.
 
 
 
Chris Allen - Audio Production Coordinator
 
 
Chris and his wife, Taffy, are also charter members of The Lighthouse, having joined the church back when we were meeting at the McAbee Center! Chris is a lawyer in a firm which serves Greater Birmingham.  He has a tremendous amount of experience in sound production. Chris and Taffy have a beautiful son, Cooper, who is currently 15 months old! We are very pleased to have Chris on our church staff as our Audio Production Coordinator.
 
 
Jackie McDonald - Financial Secretary
 
Jackie is in her first year serving as our Financial Secretary at The Lighthouse. She has been involved in student leadership in Unashamed, a campus ministry that is reaching out to thousands of Youth and College-aged individuals each and every week! Her role at The Lighthouse is to oversee the financial process, and attribute our weekly offerings. She is a very dedicated and diligent worker, and we are blessed to have her on our staff. We are grateful for her willingness to serve as our Financial Secretary.
