Rob Cain - Senior Pastor / Students / Missions
 

Pastor Rob is a native of Hartselle, Alabama, and a graduate of the University of Alabama (Bachelor of Science in Psychology). He has worked in Youth & College ministry for over 33 years, and with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association full-time. Rob also serves as the Athletic Director and Campus Pastor at American Christian Academy, where The Lighthouse meets for worship. He previously served as Student Pastor at Circlewood Baptist (13.5 years) and Duncanville Baptist (2 years) in Tuscaloosa, and at Liberty Baptist (2 years) in Hartselle. He also was senior pastor of The Church At Tuscaloosa (2002-2005), and their College Pastor for 6 years (2000-2005). Rob is very involved with mission work, evangelistic outreach, and student ministry. He and Taffy have been married for 24 years, and have 2 children, Hudson (age 18) and Maddie (age 12). Rob serves The Lighthouse as our Senior Pastor, and provides leadership for Students, Missions, and Evangelism.


Ben Flowers - Music Ministry Coordinator
 
We are truly blessed to have Ben on our Staff here at The Lighthouse! He is incredibly gifted as a guitarist, and has a heart for students. Ben grew up attending Alberta Baptist here in Tuscaloosa, and takes the lead on Sunday mornings in our church worship. He is also part of a Christian band that has played at The Lighthouse, and will lead worship at the annual No Compromise Retreat. A student at the University of Alabama, please pray for Ben as he serves our church in the role of Music Ministry Coordinator.
 

Taffy Cain - Women's Ministry Coordinator

Taffy is a charter member of The Lighthouse. This comes as no big surprise, since she is Pastor Rob's wife! Her passion for Christ, and teaching God's Word, is contagious. For over six (6) years, Taffy has devoted her time and talents to reaching and teaching the children of The Lighthouse. Now she is turning her ministry toward the ladies of our church family! We are truly blessed to have Taffy serve as our Women's Ministry Coordinator.
 
 
Brooks Moss - Video Production Coordinator
 
 
Brooks is another of our "charter members" here at The Lighthouse. He is a true example of a Christ-like servant! If a job needs doing, Brooks will get it done - and usually without having to be asked. He and his wife, Shelley, were married in December of 2011, and drive an hour each Sunday morning to worship with us. Now, that's commitment! Brooks has also served as a staff member on numerous No Compromise Student Retreats. We are very excited to have Brooks as our Video Production Coordinator.
 
 
 
Chris Allen - Audio Production Coordinator
 
 
Chris and his wife, Taffy, are charter members of The Lighthouse, having joined the church back when we were meeting at the McAbee Center! Chris is a lawyer in a firm which serves Greater Birmingham.  He has a tremendous amount of experience in sound production. Chris and Taffy have a beautiful son, Cooper, who is currently 2 years old! We are very pleased to have Chris on our church staff as our Audio Production Coordinator.
 
 
Michelle Burr - Financial Secretary
 
Michelle is our newest Staff member! She is in her first year serving as our Financial Secretary at The Lighthouse. Michelle is very involved with our Student Ministry, and has 3 kids who actively attend our church. Her role at The Lighthouse is to oversee the financial process, and attribute our weekly offerings. She is a very dedicated and diligent worker, and we are thankful to have her on our staff. Michelle currently serves as our Financial Secretary.
